Levi’s: “Station to Station” Projekt in New York

Just a few weeks before Jakob started his US tour I had gone to New York City as part of the LEVI’S Station to Station project to meet Brooklyn-based musician TECLA.

The goal to realize a common project within only a few days. We brainstormed, tried, laughed, filmed, made music, jumped, were sweating and cutting. Here is the result:

The video is the re-interpretation of a video I did a few years ago with Arturo Martinez Steele – head of video production at Dandy Diary – at the beach of Usedom. This time in NYC, without Arturo, but together with TECLA:

I jumped what felt like 294 times at 5 different locations. It was easier for TECLA: She only had to look good undress (much to the enjoyment of the New Yorkers) and recite the slogan “What happens in your dreams”.

The US team from VICE was with us during our days spent together in New York City. You can check out the making-of here.
